The live life. Nspired. 5K Run/ Family Walk is a community event held in memory of Natalie Freiburger, a courageous young girl who lost her battle with ovarian cancer. It is for anyone that is excited about overcoming a serious illness or who would like to be surrounded by other inspirational people, it's a great chance to improve your health and your outlook at the same time, with all proceeds going to support
The Power of ONE Fund.
The 5K Run is a flat, fast, USATF-certified course that runs through the heart of downtown Charlotte in front of thousands of spectators waiting for annual Frontier Days Parade. Cash awards are given to the top 3 overall male and female finishers as well as the top male and female masters finishers. Gift Certificates will be awarded to top finishers in each age division (five-year brackets).
the FREE Family Walk is an event for the whole family. Bring the kids, Grandma and Grandpa for a stroll through downtown Charlotte with thousands of parade spectators there to cheer you on. This year will also include a "generosity experience" for all walkers.
Music, snacks, and drinks will be located in the block party tents and awards will be presented at the conclusion of the race.
